I only collect what I need to reply to you and to see how people use this site. I never sell your info. Analytics cookies only turn on if you say yes, and you can change your mind any time.
Who I am
This website is run by Kenley Bides, a freelance web designer and developer. I handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What I collect
If you send the contact form or email me, I receive what you choose to share. Usually that is your name, email address and details about your project. My host also keeps basic server logs, such as IP addresses and the time of a visit, for security.
If you accept cookies, I also see general analytics data such as which pages were visited, roughly what part of the world you are in, and what kind of device you used.
I do not collect payment details, passwords or sensitive information through this website.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files saved in your browser. This site uses them sparingly. The font is served from this site, so no third party sees you loading it.
- Analytics (optional). If you accept, Google Analytics helps me understand how the site is used. If you decline, it never loads.
- Preferences (necessary). Your cookie choice and your light or dark mode setting are stored in your own browser and never sent to me.

Who else sees it
I never sell or rent your personal information. A few services help run this site and may process some data on my behalf.
- Netlify hosts the website.
- Formspree delivers contact form messages to my inbox.
- Namecheap Private Email handles email sent to me.
- Google Analytics provides visitor statistics, only with your consent.
Some of these providers store data outside of Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. I may also share information if the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Messages and project details are kept while we are talking or working together, then for up to two years in case you come back or I need them for tax records. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent for analytics. Email me and I will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how I handled it, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Kids
This site is not made for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If anything changes, I will update this page and the date above. For a bigger change, such as a new type of cookie, the banner will appear again so you can choose.
